Connecticut Cubs offers competitive travel teams for student athletes in the New Haven County area who want to compete at the Local, Regional, and National levels. Our teams promote an enjoyable safe and fair environment for the development of student athletes’ baseball skills in manners which foster respect for others, self-confidence, leadership and teamwork. CT Cubs shall include the instruction and training of student athletes in manners which produce the highest level of amateur baseball competition at elementary and secondary grade levels while maintaining the highest degrees of participation, sportsmanship and methods of physical conditioning so as to improve and develop New Haven County student athletes’ baseball achievements and capabilities, and directing and conducting baseball events and competitions to foster national amateur baseball competition.
CT Cubs is a year-round baseball program, providing sessions in the Spring and Fall, with developmental sessions in the summer and winter. Teams practice one to two times per week, play in the Connecticut Baseball League, and compete in 1 or more National Tournaments – depending on the season. Tryouts are held prior to each session. If you are selected for one of CT Cubs travel teams, you must do the following prior to your first practice:

Uniform costs are included as part of CT Cubs fees. Fees for each season are listed below. (Fees are subject to change.)
Download and print the parent packet here. Fill out all forms in the packet completely and bring them to your first practice/team meeting. No player will be permitted to practice until all of the required forms are submitted. For general liability reasons there can be no exceptions made to this rule. (Again, only complete these forms if you have been selected for a team.)
